Overview of the Event

This year’s HPD Health Fest is held to lead the efforts in fundraising money for Breast Cancer Research. This event will provide the community with plenty of free screenings as described below. There will be ample opportunities for High School or Pre-Health Profession students to meet the professional students within the different health programs at Nova Southeastern University. We will also have a plethora of vendors providing free giveaways, health advice, and more. This event provides great opportunities to meet new potential business partners, health and safety services, and occupational prospect.

General Healthcare Screenings and Vaccinations

Davie Police SWAT and K9 Demonstration

HPD Health Fest will feature the Davie Police showcasing much of the equipment they use in the field, including demonstrations performed by the SWAT and K9 units.

Health and Safety Presentations

HPD Health Fest will feature a panel of healthcare professionals who specialize in the field of cancer research and recovery. There will be drug safety education presentations at a variety of tables along with drug take back by our local police force. We will also have student representatives from the physical therapy and psychology departments assisting in general physical and mental health wellness.

Free Food, Prizes, and More

A variety of food and refreshments from local vendors and sponsors will be available on site for the enjoyment of all ages in the community. We will have the local Twin Peak Girls modeling for pictures. Free prizes will be passed out throughout the event, and raffles will be drawn towards the end!
