Our Story

MEDLIFE and ISA are happy to announce a collaborative event dedicated towards Alcohol Awareness! On Friday, September 15th, ISA will be hosting their Annual Meet and Greet Event in conjunction with MEDLIFE's first annual Project AA (Alcohol Awareness) Event. The organizations will be partnering to raise funds for The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependance, Inc (NCADD). The event will take place at 4:00 PM in the Flight Deck Backyard at Nova Southeastern University.

The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD) and its Affiliate Network is a "voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting the Nation’s #1 health problem – alcoholism, drug addiction and the devastating consequences of alcohol and other drugs on individuals, families and communities."

ISA will be providing delicious Indian food which will be free to all undergraduate NSU students. These students will also have the opportunity to compete in MEDLIFE's water-pong tournment which will incorporate an educational component geared towards learning about alcohol, alcoholism, and recovery. The cost of participation in the tournament is $20 for two players and an optional substitute. The link to register in the tournament may be found at https://goo.gl/forms/cfI4d2DCyDq5IbHI2

Any donations are greatly appreciated! Every dollar helps reach our goal of $1,500. Help spread the word!
